An American Civil War encampment depicting the active garrison of Fort Monroe by units such as the 3rd Pennsylvania Heavy Artillery preparing for the “Overland Campaign” of 1864. The event will include: Morning Colors, Infantry and Artillery drill, Black Powder firing demonstrations, Pay Call, a period Church Call and more. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available at Outlook Beach. Weather permitting.
